Welcome to Part C of the Aligning and Building Curriculum (ABC) program! Part C takes place Tuesday, May 28 to Thursday, May 30, 2013 at Elmhirst's Resort in Keene, Ontario. Please refer to the ABC, Part C - Program Schedule to view our agenda.
It is our hope that you have found the experience with Part A (October 2012) and Part B (from October to May) to be stimulating, challenging, interesting and fun. Along with your colleagues from participating colleges in the Eastern Region as well as other colleges in Ontario, you have been part of a community of practice which we hope will continue beyond the time we spend together in the ABC Program.
Over the last several months you have engaged in the ABC Knowledge Exchange Network (ABC-KEN) Curriculum Conversations. Working with a curriculum partner or a small team, you have explored a topic of mutual interest and will share your work with your peers at Part C. At the end of the program, you will leave with new ideas and tools that you can use in the curriculum work you do at your college.
In order to maximize our time together, we ask that you arrive for registration between 10:00 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. on Tuesday, May 28. We will begin our program at 11:00 a.m. The program will wrap up at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 30. Your accommodation, transportation, meals and sessions at Elmhirst's Resort will be paid by your college. Dress is casual.
You can expect a full program of small group activities, a variety of workshops and ample opportunity for formal and informal sharing of ideas. We have a guest presenter who will add to the contributions of the vast experience of you, our participants.
